First Switchfoot single out: Needful hands...

First Switchfoot single out: "Needful hands..."
Oh, that's a Jars of Clay song! I meant "Dirty Second Hands"

A letter (again) from the Switchfoot boys:

The day has finally come. "What day?" you may ask. Well, today we
released our first new album track, "dirty second hands", from our new
album "Oh! gravity."

Lyrics are worth reading because after DOWNLOADING the song (I know
some of you will)--you might forget to see its message!

dirty 2nd hands:

Please don't be so naive
You know you're not fooling anyone
You're not as tough as you think
The dirty second hands, the dirty second hands

Can't get nothing for free
It becomes so predictable
You start fighting to breathe
The dirty second hands, the dirty second hands

Here's the face of everything that breaks you down
But now you face the face of everything that breaks you down

With an army of me
We invent our own enemies
Never sees a machine
The dirty second hands, the dirty second hands

In the land of the free
And the home of the remedy
The old clock is a thief
With dirty second hands, with dirty second hands

Here's the face of everything that breaks you down
Now you face the face of everything that breaks you down

Are you really as tough as you think you blink and you're over the brink,
you bleed but the blood runs pink with dirty second hands,
dirty second hands.

You're not quite as tough as you thought
you bought the American rod the very seed that you thought you shot
with dirty second hands,
dirty second hands.

You might be right the fight might be right inside you the blind
leading the lied to so
(leave a comment if the lyrics are wrong)

The song is now available through all online music providers for less
than a buck.
We chose to release this song early because Christmas is too long to
wait, and we're really excited about this track... we hope you like it
too. It gives a glimpse into the raw and energetic approach we took
with this new album, and we can't wait to see what you guys think.
